This
is a large 100 amp cut-off switch. Notice how the two hots are
connected to the switch terminals, and the neutral lines, and
ground lines have been brought out individually. They only
connect to each other. The neutrals will be terminated with a
wire nut, and the ground wires twisted together and finally
connected to the ground screw on the inside right of the box.
Never connect the neutral and grounds together! Your GFCI will
never work, and it will be tripping the moment you turn it on.
The neutral line
is terminated with a wire nut – it's also been wrapped in
electrical/friction tape to prevent it from coming loose. The
ground is twisted together...

Here the
installation is finished, with the ground wire terminated to
the ground screw.

As with any high
current installation always push the wires into place, and do
one last TIGHTENING DOWN OF THE TERMINALS before
you put the cover on. These circuits carry a LOT of current,
and a loose connection can burn up the wires and terminals
pretty quick.
