blowers are devices that act like a vacuum cleaner working in reverse... and sound like it
too. Provided in 115 and 230 volt
versions, and rated from 1 to 2 horsepower, they simply blow air into air manifolds (and on to the
air 'injector' in the spa), or into a blower air channel that is part of the spa fiberglass
shell.
One of the key factors in designing a blower air
system, is preventing water from flowing backwards into the blower motor assembly. This may
look confusing when you look underneath your spa, but it's quite simple if you follow the below
diagrams.
